Hello Church of Living Hope family,

Again I cannot emphasize enough, God will get us through this situation in victory!

I want to keep any church relevant updates, that the Church of Living Hope leadership has, on this page for easy access. You can bookmark this page for that.

Here is a list of the latest updates we have had to make during this time. Hopefully this will only last two weeks. We will prepare to keep the changes as long as is necessary.

  • We will not have any meetings on Sunday Morning at the church building. We are asking everyone to join a friend on Sundays at 10AM to watch the service livestream at a "Watch Party"
  • No meetings will be held on Wednesday nights. I will also post a livestream Bible study each Wednesday night at 7PM
  • For the time being, no other meetings will be held at the Church of Living Hope building

We realize that these are very different circumstances that none of us have had to deal with before. Thank you for praying for the church staff and leadership as we attempt to lead our congregation well during this challenging time. We are certainly praying each of you and your families.

We are not led by fear and we are not implementing these precautions to incite fear. We are honoring what our government leaders have requested in an attempt to hard stop the spread of this virus. We are simply using wisdom in a community of people. Our heart is for you and our community.

This Sunday, please join us via live stream on our Facebook page. Prayer requests can be made live and our prayer team will pray immediately. Giving can also be done on our website for your convenience at https://clhtyler.org/give . We would really prefer for you to watch the Sunday morning livestream in small watch parties (10 or less people). This would provide a place to get prayer in person as will. However we also understand if elderly or the immunosuppressed cannot join a watch party.

As always, we are available to serve you in any way that we can. We love you and are praying peace, protection and health over you and your family.

Hello Church of Living Hope family,

The first thing I would like to say is to please not panic. We are going to completely trust in God (as I will share on Sunday) and God will get us through this situation in victory!

Secondly, during this time of heightened concern over the increased number of coronavirus cases in our country, I wanted to take a moment to talk to you about what we’re doing at Church of Living Hope to provide a safe worship experience for everyone each week.

We have instituted additional precautions that we will strictly be enforcing in our building during this time.

  • If you or your children have any of the following symptoms, we ask that you stay home and participate with our service online: cold like symptoms, runny nose, fever or cough.
  • Children and students displaying any of these symptoms will not be allowed to enter any classrooms.
  • Our Children's Ministry team will disinfect the classrooms before service including all children’s bathrooms and all toys and games.
  • Our Greeter team will disinfect all surfaces and wipe down surfaces in the bathrooms multiple times throughout the day on Sundays.
  • A hand sanitizing station will be placed in the building. This does not take the place of hand washing. Washing your hands often and for at least 20 seconds is highly recommended by public health officials.

We are not led by fear and we are not implementing these precautions to incite fear. We are simply using wisdom in a community of people. It is truly most important that, as we take physical precautions, we continue to feed ourselves spiritually as well. At the bottom of this message are several scriptures that you can use to build your faith and pray over you and your family.

If you choose to stay home this Sunday, please join us via live stream on our Facebook page. Giving can also be done on our website for your convenience. We completely understand your decision in this regard, and want to provide you an online alternative.

As always, we are available to serve you in any way that we can. We love you and are praying peace, protection and health over you and your family.

Psalm 91:5-7
You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

Psalm 91:10-11
No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.

Luke 12:25-26
Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

John 16:33
I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
